Cross slotted couplings: attractively priced, torsionally rigid solutions

cross slotted couplings, also known as spring bar couplings or equalising couplings, are the first choice when a very cost-effective, torsionally rigid solution is required.

They are made from one piece and are available in three variants:

    Plastic version
    Variant made of GRP (glass fibre reinforced plastic)
    Aluminium version

The simple plastic couplings are mainly used in model making. They are also electrically insulating, transmit angularly synchronised rotary movements and have a shock and vibration damping effect.

Each plastic coupling also offers the advantage of thermal decoupling. In addition to the high torsion spring stiffness, which is achieved through the design and the appropriate choice of material, they are characterised by very low restoring forces.

Positive-locking metal hubs ensure an optimised shaft connection. We offer cross slotted couplings in various sizes.
