SKMS 1520 polycarbonate shaft coupling with 20 mm length
Lightweight and cost-effective cross slotted coupling made of red polycarbonate with brass hubs. It enables backlash-free and angularly synchronised transmission of rotary movements with medium torsion spring stiffness and low restoring forces. The plastic part has an electrically insulating and vibration-damping effect. The metal inserts in the hubs ensure a reliable shaft connection. Free inner web area, shafts can protrude into the coupling.
This very light version of our couplings is often used in model making.
Compare this with our stronger GRP variants SKPS 1520/2224 and our aluminium variant SKAK 4048.
