Our BKXSP safety coupling is a bellows couplings with safety backup. In contrast to a conventional bellows couplings, two internal claws interlock in the event of damage to the bellows, so that the connection is still guaranteed.
In this case, a deviation of up to 7 degrees occurs during reversing operation, which is detected by the encoder and thus enables the system to be shut down without damage.
Like other bellows couplings, the BKXSP safety coupling also enables backlash-free and angularly synchronous transmission. It optimally compensates for any misalignment and has a very high torsional stiffness with low restoring forces.
The screw hubs are made of stainless steel.
