At abp, we attach great importance to a relationship based on partnership.
That is why it is particularly important to us to work closely with you from the development and manufacture of your products through to delivery and installation. We analyze your specific requirements, support you in selecting the right products and help you to find the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
In our first meeting with you, we discuss the requirements for your project and evaluate possible solutions together. We will advise you on the best materials, the benefits and risks of different solutions and cost efficiency. We then prepare a customized offer for you.
Once the order has been placed, the project schedule and delivery dates are defined in consultation with you. Once all parameters have been clarified with you and we have found the optimum solution for your requirements, we start in-house production. Your contact person is available to you at all times during the entire process.
After production of the first test products, we start internal quality control. Our employees check the quality of the products with great precision. If we notice anything, we use the short distances to production to make adjustments. We do this until your product meets our high quality standards.
Prompt delivery takes place after production has been completed. Our customer service team will be happy to respond quickly to any questions or problems you may have during installation or commissioning.
At abp Antriebstechnik, we ensure efficient logistics for fast and reliable deliveries. Our dedicated team coordinates the entire shipping process, from order to delivery, to ensure that your products arrive on time and in perfect condition.
In this way, we can guarantee smooth processes from planning and production in our company through to shipping. We also offer flexible shipping options, transparent tracking and support with customs clearance. Your contact person is always at your side if required.
We are also happy to label your products individually if required. Our numerous labeling solutions ensure that all components are clearly and precisely marked. Thanks to our in-house marking department, this step in production is carried out quickly and efficiently.
A rotary encoder is used to measure angles of rotation. Rotary encoders provide digital output signals that are decoded for evaluation. A distinction is made between incremental and absolute encoders. abp Antriebstechnik offers a wide range of different encoder mounting accessoires, including measuring wheels, spring arms and mounting aids.
A bellows coupling is a flexible connection between two shafts. It transmits torque from a drivetrain to an output shaft. It consists of a flexible bellows that is firmly connected to two hubs.
Power is transmitted in bevel or angular gearboxes by bevel gears. Bevel gears from abp Antriebstechnik are supplied in pairs. Their axis angle is 90 degrees.
A clamping flange is used as a fastening element for attachments on a shaft. The clamping flanges from abp are designed for high clamping forces, distribute clamping forces almost evenly and are available in various materials.
A (shaft) coupling is a mechanical component that transmits power, torque and rotation from a drive shaft to a shaft to be driven. Shaft couplings are used to compensate for misalignment due to manufacturing and assembly tolerances.
Cross slotted couplings are used to connect two shafts. They are used when a cost-effective, torsionally rigid solution is required. Positive-locking metal hubs ensure an optimized shaft connection.
Double loop couplings are highly flexible couplings. They are used when angularly, radially and/or axially offset drive shafts need to be connected in a force-fit manner.
Friction couplings installed between two shafts automatically disconnect when a certain torque is reached. They protect mechanical drives if the maximum permissible torque is exceeded.
A gearbox is used to transmit and adapt the speed and torque of a drive unit at an angle. abp Antriebstechnik offers gearboxes in the smallest dimensions for deflecting motion forces by 90 degrees.
A gearbox consists of various individual parts, including gearing parts. abp Antriebstechnik specializes in bevel gears, worms and worm gears, spur gears and ring gears.
Helix couplings are made from one piece. In their basic form, they consist of a cylindrical body with a helical groove.
Internal gears are gears in which the tooth flanks are on the inside. This can contribute to optimum space utilization where space is limited. A gear with internal teeth is also known as a ring gear.
Jaw couplings are used to transmit high forces between two shafts. They consist of two hubs with jaws and a damping element. abp Antriebstechnik also manufactures Jaw couplings in stainless steel.
In combination with a rotary encoder and corresponding accessories such as a rotary encoder holder or spring arm, measuring wheels are highly precise and efficient for measuring linear distances and converting them into speed or position values. The different running surfaces allow them to function depending on the surface.
Multi jaw couplings transmit torques between two shafts positively via tooth flanks in both directions of rotation. They are not suitable for compensating for misalignments, are not shiftable and are rigid.
A nickel bellows coupling is a flexible connection between two shafts. It is mainly used for high-precision measurement technology and sensitive applications due to its high torsional rigidity. At the same time, misalignments are compensated for by the extreme flexibility of the bellows.
In the coupling sector, abp Antriebstechnik enables quick and uncomplicated special solutions and develops and manufactures a wide range of customized, tailor-made small and very small series.
A spring coupling is a non-shiftable, torsionally flexible coupling. It consists of two hubs that are connected by a spring. This allows a very high angle of rotation between the two shafts. The spring can compensate for large misalignments and is an effective vibration-damping element.
Torsionally rigid couplings with compensation: They are suitable for angularly synchronous transmission of the rotary movement. Depending on the design, they are equipped with one or two diaphragms (plates) to compensate for radial misalignment. If these are made of plastic, they have an electrically insulating effect.
A spur gear is also known as a cylindrical gear. It is the most common type of gearwheel. The simplest type of spur gear is a single-stage spur gear with two shafts, each with a spur gear.
A worm gearbox consists of a worm wheel and worm. Worm gearboxes allow a particularly high transmission ratio in a small space. They are self-locking due to the low lead angle.
