Jaw couplings are made up of two hubs with claws and a damping element. The elastic connecting elements dampen short-term torque surges, reduce the non-uniformity of movement and power transmission and also have a noise-reducing effect. Jaw couplings are therefore particularly suitable for transmitting high forces.
For demanding applications, abp Jaw couplings are also available in stainless steel.
At abp, we offer Jaw couplings with plug-in elastomer compensation elements in various Shore hardnesses as required. The couplings are available with damping elements in blue 80 Shore, white 92 Shore or red 98 Shore.
