abp friction couplings: Overload protection and safety

Friction couplings are installed between two shafts and automatically disconnect when a certain torque is reached. Thanks to their infinitely adjustable slipping torque, they protect mechanical drives when the maximum permissible torque is exceeded - and can thus prevent downtimes and damage to the system.

Friction couplings for small dimensions: abp friction couplings are particularly suitable for use in applications with installation lengths and outer diameters from 20 mm.

Preferred areas of application: abp friction couplings are used wherever a certain torque must not be exceeded. These include, for example, small drives, light drive systems, auxiliary personnel drives or drives without electrical force limitation, copying machines, printing machines, medical technology applications and much more.
