Last Wednesday, Mr Tok and Mrs Braun visited the Technology Centre in St Georgen. Herr Friedrich from the TZ informed them about the work and new offers. With Mr Bleile/ IG Metall, Mr Schwellinger/ Steinbeis Beratungszentrum Transformation, Mr Schmider/ the St Georgen municipal council and Barbara Ploetz/ABP Antriebstechnik GmbH, they discussed current problems such as the lack of skilled workers, transformation that is too slow, excessive bureaucracy, energy prices and the restructuring that is necessary here.
Despite many different opinions on the way, the participants agreed on the discussed goals - such as independent, regenerative energy supply or more speed of all participants in order to maintain the leading position of Baden-Württemberg in Europe as a land of inventors.
