Jaw couplings are used to transmit high forces. They are made up of two hubs with claws and a damping element. For demanding applications, abp claw couplings are also available in stainless steel.

abp jaw couplings ensure positive torque transmission and optimum compensation of shaft misalignments. The elastic connecting elements dampen short-term torque surges, reduce the non-uniformity of movement and power transmission and also have a noise-reducing effect.

The specially developed, plug-in elastomer stars as a damping element are a special bonus. These can be ordered in various Shore hardnesses according to customer requirements. The stars are available in blue 80 Shore, white 92 Shore or red 98 Shore.
